3rd Grade: Inventions

3rd grade learns about Rube Goldberg and his creative inventive drawings. 
 
 
After 3rd grade draws their own inventive design, they put together a mousetrap game that is inspired by Rube Goldberg type of invention.

CCATS Tshirts are in!


5th grade: Solves a Crime: The Case of the Missing Lunch!!

5th graders came to class today only to discover a crime was committed!!  Using clues and conducting experiments led them to discover who stole Stacey's lunch.





4th grade visits the Georgia Aquarium

4th grade: Fish Kits

We learned about the many parts of a fish today while putting together our Fish Kits!  Students had to read and follow directions very carefully to assemble their fish.  After assembling, they chose a matching picture to see if they put it together correctly.  They did a great job! Here are some finished products:

3rd grade Invention Timeline


These 3rd graders had five categories of inventions to choose from to add to their invention time line.  The inventions ranged from jets, (transportation) to candy apples, (food) to ipods, (electronics).  It was neat to see what order the different inventions fell on the timeline.
