3rd grade learns about Rube Goldberg

Rube Goldberg was an inventor who invented some pretty strange designs like the one pictured below:

We practiced making some of own:

4th grade's Paper Mache Fish

Student had to pick a fish and research it.  They had to learn about their chosen fish and draw the fish and fin placement for their paper mache.

Next we add newspaper and white paper with a flour and water mixture.

Next we paint, capturing the likeness of our fish.

Science Olympiad Practice and Results....We won!!

Science Olympiad was a lot of fun and hard work.  We practiced 3 times a week after school and it paid off.  We came away with 2 medals and a ribbon.  The Top Dawgs of Eastside did a great job and we are proud of their efforts.
