3rd grade: Chocolate inventions...Yum
After researching the invention of chocolate, how it's made, making power points and even tasting some of our own (using an smores invention).... We tried to come up with a brand new type of chocolate bar that the world needs. #yummyday

5th grade: Can you Solve our Mystery?
To finish up our Criminology Unit, each student was responsible for creating their own mysteries with all the things we have learned about in class, such as: evidence, suspects, crime scene and alibis.

We learned about the parts of a fish by building them using directions only, no pictures. Then we matched it with the photo to see how well we knew our fish parts. It was fun learning the song above also :)

3rd grade: Inventor: Rube Goldberg
Today we learned about a famous inventor, Rube Goldberg.
Rube Goldberg was an American Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist, sculptor, author, engineer, and inventor, and his work is a classic example of the melding of art and science.
Fun fact: Rube Goldberg is a now an adjective in the dictionary!
Mouse Trap is a game that is inspired by Rube Goldbergs creations. Here are a couple of pictures of 3rd grade experimenting with a Rube Goldberg type invention:
