4th grade: Floating Classroom Trip

Our 4th grade CCATS classes enjoyed West Point Lake's Floating Classroom!!   Onboard the Miss Sally – a custom-built 42-foot vessel – our experienced instructors engage participants in a variety of activities that highlight science, history, math and the challenges facing the Chattahoochee River, a source of drinking water and recreation for millions of people in Georgia and Alabama.

3rd grade: Inventions! Making Icecream

We all scream for ice cream!

Did you know that ice cream was invented in India by a King?  Servants had to travel to high altitudes to retrieve ice/snow and then cooks would flavor with milk and honey.  Now there are over 100 flavors to choose from!!!  We made vanilla ;)
