Ocean Animals Paper Mache"

After studying our unit on Oceanography, it was time for some fun!  We each choose an ocean animal that we studied to paper mache'.

First, we started out with a balloon.  We had to research our fish and replicate the head, tail, fins, and any other body appendages. This is the beginnings of a narwhale.

Next, we added a layer of newspaper.

Next, a layer of white paper.

Here we are working on adding those multiple layers.  Among our fish are a sunfish, a clown fish, a sword fish, and a John Dory.

After several days of drying, we are ready for paint!
