5th grade: American Village

Last Field Trip of the Year for 5th graders :(
We traveled to Montevallo to visit the American Village.  We felt as if we traveled back into the 1700's.  We met George Washington's granddaughter, learned dance steps for a ball, became part of a infantry line, and even saw an exact replica of the oval office.

5th and 6th D.C./N.Y.C. Trip

For 5 exciting days we toured Washington D.C. and New York. We had a blast, seeing first hand, about what we have been studying in class. Here are a couple of pictures to show our wonderful experiences:

5th grade starts Washington D.C. Unit

5th graders learned their way around Washington D.C. by constructing a map of all the monuments and memorials.
